Resize system primary partition

  • Computer user knows well that once the partition is created, it will be difficult to be resized primarily because the system partition is simultaneously involved once the computer is started when no operation should be performed upon the involved partition. Still using the built in disk management tool to resize partitions is quite hard unless user is willing to reinstall operating system.     What is primary partition?

    2. Oversize partitions are allocated when user installs operating system. Therefore, user should resize partition to make the most of disk space effectively.
    3. Some particular software requires to be installed on system partition whose space is always too small.

    After successful installation, user would come to following interface when running MiniTool Partition Wizard.

    According to the red zone in above interface, user could know this partition is active partition. To resize this partition, user should first select and right click it, then click "Move/Resize" to enter next interface:

    In this interface, user could set the size of partition by dragging the left and right arrow or enter concrete value in the below blank. After that, please click "OK":

    Lastly, user should click "Apply" at the top left corner. In this process computer needs to be restarted. After that, the partition will be successfully resized.
