Partition Surface Test
About “Partition Surface Test”
Sometimes, you have difficulty in managing partitions (such as create partition, extend partition, shrink partition and move partition). For example, the very partitioning tool runs quite slow or even stops running in a time point. There might be some bad sectors on your partition. At this time, you need a partition surface test tool which can help confirm whether there are bad sectors on the target partition. And MiniTool Partition Wizard is strongly suggested here, since it can scan each partition sector status by reading data from the sector. Partition block without reading error will mark as green color, and partition block with reading error will mark as red color. And this tool can only scan the selected partition instead of the whole hard disk.
How to Perform Partition Surface Test
Select the target partition you would like to check and click “Surface Test” from the Operations group of the action panel or from the Partition menu.
In the above window, click “Start Now”.
After viewing MiniTool Partition Wizard Tutorial above, users could easily make a partition surface test to check whether there are bad sectors on the partition.
