Later on, the enhanced edition of FAT 16, FAT 32 is released for Windows 98, adopting 32 bit file allocation table to effectively manage hard disk over 2 GB and supporting a maximum disk volume of 2 TB.

    NTFS
NTFS is a rising partition format, initially used in Windows NT network operating system. With the advance of its safety performance, Windows Vista and Windows 7 begin to employ and even merely allow NTFS as the partition format. NTFS features in high safety performance and excellent stability which hardly produces file fragment and is beneficial to disk space use and operating speed.
