Paragon Partition Manager 9.0 Express edition is a free partition manager from Paragon Software, which is available for non-commercial use. The current version of Paragon Partition Manager series is version 10, so version 9.0 of Partition Manager is older but working program. Anyway, Paragon Partition Manager 9.0 Express has only basic disk partition functionalities, such as create and format partition or move and resize partitions, and available for 32-bit (x86) system only.
Obviously, Partition Manager 9.0 can not support 64 bit systems.
What is a 64x system?
64 x system refers to x64 editions of Microsoft Windows client and server, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows Server 2003 SP1 x64 Edition were released in March 2005. Internally they are actually the same build (5.2.3790.1830 SP1), as they share the same source base and operating system binaries, so even system updates are released in unified packages, much in the manner as Windows 2000 Professional and Server editions for x86. Windows Vista, which also has many different versions, was released in January 2007.
All these systems are equipped with large scale storage devices. So the partition management is of equivalent importance.
As they are all 64 bit systems, so we can not simply use partition manager 9.0 for partition management.
Here we recommend a partition manager with powerful functions in doing partition management for X64 systems.
What's more, Partition Wizard is also the best partition manager with some leading functions. MiniTool Partition Manager has some more advanced functions, such as rebuild MBR, convert DPT (disk partition table) format from MBR to GTP, and recover data, move/resize system partitions, convert file systems and much more.
