Extend/expand logical partition

  • Logical partition is a part of successive areas on hard disk and each primary can merely be divided into on drive with each primary possessing its independent boot block which can be set as boot partition. There are in total three types of partitions for hard disk: primary partition, extended partition, logical partition. A hard disk should have minimally one and maximally 4 primary partitions, none or at most one extended partition and no more than 4 partitions with both primary partition and extended partition combined.
