How to disable AVG Secure Search on Browsers?

Disable AVG Secure Search:

In Internet Explorer 8 and 9
1. Click the Tools button in the upper right corner and select Internet options.
2. Click Use Blank (or enter a new home page) under the General tab.
3. Click the Manage add-ons button under the Programs tab.
4. Select Search Providers from the left box.
5. Click on your desired search engine and click Set as default button.
6. Click on AVG Secure Search and click the Remove button. It may take effects after you restart Internet Explorer.
7. Open a new tab, click on Settings in the bottom right corner and uncheck the box.
8. Click OK and restart Internet Explorer.

In Google Chrome
1. Click the wrench icon in upper-right corner and select Settings or Options if you are using an older Chrome version.
2. Select a new default search engine using the drop down menu under Search column.
3. Click Manage search engines button.
4. Select AVG Secure Search and click on the X on the right to delete it.
5. Click the Set pages link Under On Startup column.
6. Delete the AVG Search page by clicking on the X on the right.
7. Click OK and restart Chrome.

In Mozilla Firefox
1. Click the search provider icon and select Manage Search Engines in the search window in the upper right corner.
2. Select AVG Secure Search and select the Remove button and then click OK.
3. Click the orange Firefox button and choose Options > Options in the upper-left corner of the browser.
4. Delete the current "Home Page" link or enter a new home page under the General tab. Click OK.
5. Open a new tab, click on Settings in the bottom right corner and uncheck the box
6. Click OK and restart Firefox.
