Currently, there are still a great number of users that use FAT 32 partition. However, attributing to the release of NTFS and its superior performance reported by users, an increasing amount of users are likely to convert FAT 32 to NTFS. Therefore, they should employ a third-party partition manager that is able to convert FAT 32 to NTFS safely. In this regard, I would like to recommend user MiniTool Partition Wizard, a powerful yet efficient partition manager developed by MiniTool Solution Ltd..
Why should we convert FAT to NTFS?
As is known to us, partition is a very important part of computer and a disk is workable only after being partitioned. Currently, common partition formats are FAT 16, FAT 32 and NTFS and each of them has distinctive performance and features.
FAT 32 is a early file system that supports relatively old operating systems such as Windows 95 and Windows 98, etc. If user wants to visit Windows 9X from DOS, FAT file system is a must. However, FAT has very limited storage volume and is not so smooth in operation. Subsequently, a file system with better performance, NTFS, is developed.
